Nurse (RN or LPN) | Full-Time Days & Nights | The Lighthouse
Immanuel Communities is seeking compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurses (RNs) and Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to join our team at The Lighthouse, located at 17600 Arbor Street, Omaha, NE 68130. The Lighthouse offers 54 skilled nursing and long-term care suites and is committed to providing exceptional care in a supportive and collaborative environment.
About the role
The overall purpose of this position is to assure the residents are cared for mentally, spiritually, and in health. The primary responsibilities include ensuring the residents are safe and free from pain or abuse and treated with dignity and respect.
Schedule
We are currently hiring for two full-time 12-hour shift opportunities:
- Days: 6:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.
- Nights: 6:00 p.m. – 6:00 a.m.
Pay
- RN: Up to $47.28/hour
- LPN: Up to $35.52/hour
Pay is based on experience, certifications, skills, and education.

Responsibilities
- Ensure residents are safe and free from pain or abuse
- Treat residents with dignity and respect
- Provide care in alignment with person-centered care principles
- Conduct resident assessments and care planning
- Administer medications and maintain clinical documentation
- Supervise or collaborate with nursing assistants and interdisciplinary care teams
- Adhere to infection prevention practices and regulatory compliance standards
- Utilize electronic health record (EHR) systems
Requirements
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the respective state of employment
- Minimum of one (1) year of progressive experience in an assisted living or skilled care community or related experience (equivalent years of education may substitute)
Qualifications
- Experience providing care in a skilled nursing, long-term care, rehabilitation, assisted living, or post-acute setting is preferred
- Experience with resident assessments, care planning, medication administration, and clinical documentation is preferred
- Experience supervising or collaborating with nursing assistants and interdisciplinary care teams is preferred
- Knowledge of infection prevention practices, regulatory compliance standards, and person-centered care principles is preferred
- Experience working with electronic health record (EHR) systems is preferred
