Qualifications

• Education: Associate's Degree in Nursing. Required to have BSN within three (3) years of hire or transfer into the position.
• Licensure/Certifications: Licensed to practice nursing in the state of Florida, BLS from the American Heart Association, ACLS from the American Heart Association. PALS and NRP certification required within six (6) months of hire or transfer, effective July 1, 2018. Existing employees required to have certifications by December 31, 2018. ED Fellows required to obtain ACLS, PALS and NRP within six (6) months of hire or transfer. CEN or TNCC preferred.
• Experience: Less than 1 year experience for EDFP Fellows only. 1-2 years of Emergency Department or ICU experience as a Registered Nurse preferred.
