About the role
Provide direct nursing care to residents in a long-term care setting.
Responsibilities
- Assess residents’ conditions and respond accordingly
- Maintain effective communication with other staff
- Complete reports such as changes in residents' condition, incident and accident reports, etc.
- Provide immediate response to situations of resident risk such as allegations of abuse, neglect, or misappropriation of property
- Ensure timely and accurate medication and treatment administration
- Maintain and restore residents' physical and mental health functional abilities
Requirements
- Current Nursing License
- Prior Long-Term Care setting experience preferred
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
- Must be physically active with the ability to lift, bend, push, and pull
