Nurse-RN/LPN

About the role

Burcham Hills is recruiting for Day Shift (7am - 7:30pm) and Night Shift (7pm - 7:30am) Nurses. Positions are available on a 12-hour shift basis, both full-time and part-time.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine nursing assessments
• Provide medical treatments including medications
• Act on resident changes
• Coordinate care with physicians

Requirements

• Possess and maintain a valid, current, and unencumbered nursing license (RN or LPN) for the State of Michigan
• Current CPR certification or obtain within 30 days
• Ability to work on-call and extended or flexible hours, as necessary
• Ability to make independent decisions within scope of practice when circumstances warrant such action
• Ability to communicate effectively with team members, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel, and the general public
• Ability to read, write, speak, and comprehend written and oral instructions in English

Qualifications

• Clinical experience as a nurse, in an acute care, long term care, assisted living community or other related health care setting, preferred

Schedule

Nurses work on a 12-hour shift basis, either full-time or part-time, on Day Shift (7am - 7:30pm) or Night Shift (7pm - 7:30am).

Pay

• RNs: $35.40/hr. - $42.60/hr. (Includes: Years of Experience, Hero Pay ($3.40 per hour) and Shift Differential ($4.00 an hour for 3rd shift))
