Blue Cloud operates ambulatory surgery centers (ASCs) dedicated to providing safe, high-quality, and accessible surgical care. As our network of ASCs continues to grow, we are actively recruiting a Registered Nurse to join our talented and compassionate perioperative care team at Crowne Point Surgery Center in Flint, Michigan. Our multispecialty center supports both pediatric patients undergoing dental procedures and adult patients undergoing outpatient gastrointestinal procedures, with a shared focus on safety, quality, comfort, and exceptional patient experience.

Responsibilities
- Provide safe, compassionate preoperative nursing care for pediatric and adult patients in the ambulatory surgery center setting
- Assess, monitor, and document each patient’s status upon arrival to the recovery area and throughout the post-anesthesia recovery process
- Deliver individualized nursing care based on patient age, procedure type, surgical or gastrointestinal condition, and anesthesia plan li>Monitor pediatric and adult patients during the intraoperative and post-anesthesia care unit (PACU) periods, promptly communicating observed changes or complications to the appropriate dentist, physician, gastroenterologist, surgeon, or anesthesia provider
Requirements
- Current State License to practice as a Registered Nurse
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Knowledge regarding the nursing process and its application, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) upon hire
- Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) (within 60 days of hire)
Qualifications
- GI/endoscopy experience strongly valued
- Pediatric experience strongly valued
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in nursing
- Previous ICU, perioperative, PACU, endoscopy, or ambulatory surgery center experience
