Nurse Recruiter

About the role

Responsible for recruiting qualified nurses, respiratory therapist, and support staff. Assists with the development of hospital programs and services that support nurse recruitment. Work involves planning, coordination, market research, and implementation of nurse recruitment activities.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required upon hire. Current Registered Nurse (RN) License in the State of Texas required. Bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred.

Requirements

• Nursing experience in a healthcare setting.
• Recruiting experience preferred.
• Working knowledge of recruiting methods including locating pools of qualified applicants and direct recruiting.
• Working knowledge of hospital policy and procedures.
• Excellent verbal and written communications.
• Professional and enthusiastic demeanor.
• Excellent interviewing skills.
• Overnight travel may be required.
• Workstation duties and hours may be changed as required.
• Ability to lift up to twenty (20) pounds.
• Exposure to infectious diseases.
