Nurse Practitioner – Veteran Evaluations | 4 to 5 days per week | Warren, NJ

About the role

The IMA Group seeks a Nurse Practitioner in Warren, NJ to conduct one‑time disability evaluations for U.S. veterans. This clinical work has real purpose and does not involve ongoing patient‑panel management, prescribing, treatment planning, or follow‑ups. You will assess, document, and move on to the next veteran, with each evaluation directly influencing a benefits outcome.

Responsibilities

• Perform in‑depth medical evaluations of veterans applying for VA disability benefits.
• Review medical records, test results, and supporting documentation.
• Draft thorough evaluation reports using the company’s electronic platform.

Requirements

• Active Nurse Practitioner license.
• Master’s or Doctoral degree from an accredited NP program.
• Hands‑on clinical NP experience.
• Background in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Emergency Medicine, Occupational Medicine, PM&R, or Orthopedics is a plus (not required).

Pay

Full‑time compensation ranges from $115,000 to $125,000 annually, prorated to your schedule. Pay scales with your schedule, up to $125,000 for a full‑time workload.

Schedule

4–5 days per week, strictly daytime hours, Monday through Friday. No on‑call duties; evenings and weekends are off.
