Nurse Practitioner VEC

Facility: Caritas Medical Arts Building • Part-time (0.426667 FTE) with benefits • Exempt from overtime • Bargaining unit: Trinity Medical

Schedule

• 2 days per week, varied start and end times between 7:00 AM and 5:00 PM (days and evenings)

Summary

Provides medical care in support of professional medical staff. Delivers a variety of medical services to patients in accordance with established laws and procedures. Works cooperatively with other health professionals under the direct supervision of a physician.

Responsibilities

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing
• Maintain a current New York State Professional RN license
• Completion of an accredited program for Nurse Practitioners
• Maintain Adult, Acute Care, or Family Nurse Practitioner Certification
• Master’s degree preferred
• Three years’ experience as a Nurse Practitioner preferred
• Experience in family practice or specialty setting preferred
• Certification in CPR with annual re-certification required
• ACLS certification preferred
• Knowledge of Patient-Centered Medical Home, MIPS, and HEDIS requirements preferred

• Possible on-call coverage
