Nurse Practitioner - Urology

About the Role

Provides comprehensive patient care in collaboration with physicians, demonstrating autonomy in evaluation, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up. Orders and interprets diagnostic tests, prescribes medications and therapies within scope, and performs procedures as appropriate.

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, and implement treatment plans for patients.
• Accurately document patient information in electronic medical records.
• Evaluate test results and consult with physicians when necessary.
• Prescribe, adjust, or discontinue medications and therapies.
• Communicate effectively with patients, physicians, and staff via various means.
• Provide patient education and health advocacy in an understandable manner.
• Follow policies, procedures, and meet organizational goals.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Nursing with Nurse Practitioner certification.
