About the Role
Provides comprehensive patient care in collaboration with physicians, demonstrating autonomy in evaluation, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up. Orders and interprets diagnostic tests, prescribes medications and therapies within scope, and performs procedures as appropriate.
Responsibilities
- Assess, diagnose, and implement treatment plans for patients.
- Accurately document patient information in electronic medical records.
- Evaluate test results and consult with physicians when necessary.
- Prescribe, adjust, or discontinue medications and therapies.
- Communicate effectively with patients, physicians, and staff via various means.
- Provide patient education and health advocacy in an understandable manner.
- Follow policies, procedures, and meet organizational goals.
Qualifications
- Master’s Degree in Nursing with Nurse Practitioner certification.
Skills
- Proficiency in patient assessment, diagnostics, and therapeutic interventions.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.
- Ability to perform clinical procedures within scope of practice.
- Commitment to safe, ethical, and evidence-based care.
