What You’ll Do
- Primary lead for the longitudinal care of established patients, specifically OAB medication titration, recurrent UTI management, and complex pelvic health follow-ups.
- Lead provider for established pessary management, including routine checks, cleanings, refits, and monitoring vaginal tissue health.
- Occasionally conduct shared inpatient rounding for post-operative patients (typically 23-hour patient stays).
- Lead comprehensive patient education and preoperative teaching. Obtain informed consent for minor procedures.
- Maintain clinical presence and provider access in the office during all Physician OR days to manage urgent triage and established follow-up volume.
What You Bring
- 2+ years of experience in Urogynecology
- Graduate from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program (MSN, DNP, or WHNP)
- Board Certification
- Active or pending, unencumbered licensure to practice as a Nurse Practitioner in the state of Maine
- Active or pending DEA Certification in the state of Maine
- Active BLS certification
- Maintain continuing education appropriate for scope of practice and licensure
