Nurse Practitioner – Urgent Care (KS/MO | $100–$105/hr)

We are recruiting an experienced Advanced Practice Provider for a locum tenens assignment covering clinic locations across Kansas and Missouri. The role starts as soon as credentialing is complete and offers ongoing work with a strong hourly rate and consistent weekday hours.

About the role

Clinicians will treat work-related injuries and walk-in urgent care patients across both states, with steady patient volume and straightforward documentation requirements.

Responsibilities

• Work Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
• Provide coverage across clinic locations in both Kansas and Missouri
• Treat patients ages two years and older
• Diagnose and treat injuries, perform physical examinations and in-office procedures
• Evaluate and treat walk-in urgent care patients while maintaining timely documentation

Requirements

• Active Missouri and Kansas APRN licenses
• FNP certification preferred
• 1–3 years of experience, ideally in urgent care or occupational medicine
• Comfortable managing a minimum of three patients per hour
• Strong communication skills for employer coordination and medical guidance

Pay

$100–$105/hour

Schedule

• Near-term start (1–3 months)
• Ongoing, ideally consistent weekly schedule
