About the role
Gifford Health Care is seeking a part-time Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner to join their Psychiatry Department in Randolph, VT.
Responsibilities
- Provide psychiatric-mental health nursing care to patients in accordance with established protocols and guidelines.
- Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and provide psychotherapy services as needed.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient progress and treatment plans.
- Document patient care activities accurately and maintain patient records.
Requirements
- Minimum 2-4 years of experience in a clinical setting preferred.
- Current licensure as a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner in the state of Vermont.
- Current CPR certification.
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Nursing (MSN) with a focus in Psychiatric-Mental Health Nursing.
- ACNP certification preferred.
Skills
- Strong clinical skills in psychiatric-mental health nursing.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficient in electronic medical record systems.
