Nurse Practitioner - PRN - Palliative Care

About the role

We are seeking a Palliative Care Nurse to provide direct patient and family care through consultations for individuals with serious illnesses, focusing on those with a prognosis of one year or less who are not eligible for hospice.

Responsibilities

• Deliver evidence-based palliative care.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments across physical, emotional, spiritual, and psychosocial domains.
• Interpret findings and manage medications.
• Develop effective care plans.

Requirements

• RN/APRN licensure.
• Nurse practitioner or CNS certification with prescriptive authority.
• BCLS certification.
• At least five years of clinical nursing experience.

Qualifications

Preferred credentials include advanced palliative care certification (ACHPN) and experience in hospice, palliative care, or oncology.
