Nurse Practitioner PRN

About the role

Pawnee Behavioral Health, in partnership with Ascension Recovery Services, is seeking an experienced PRN / On-Call Nurse Practitioner (NP) to support medical coverage at our active substance use disorder treatment facility.

Responsibilities

• Perform medical evaluations as needed
• Manage detoxification, withdrawal, and MAT protocols
• Prescribe medications in accordance with clinical protocols and state/federal regulations
• Provide clinical guidance to nursing staff during on-call situations
• Respond to medical or psychiatric concerns and emergencies
• Document all care accurately and timely in the EHR
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to support patient safety and outcomes
• Participate in quality, compliance, and clinical review activities as requested

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Nursing (MSN); DNP preferred
• Current, unrestricted Oklahoma Nurse Practitioner license
• Eligible for DEA registration with Schedule III authority
• Current CPR certification
• Preferred: Certification as FNP or PMHNP
• Experience in behavioral health, addiction medicine, detox, or inpatient/residential settings
• Strong working knowledge of MAT, withdrawal management, and psychotropic medications

Qualifications
