Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant - Weekend

About the role

The Northside Cardiovascular Group in Lawrenceville, GA is seeking a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our weekend team. This position offers a dynamic work environment with opportunities for professional growth.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient health needs and develop treatment plans
• Provide primary care services including diagnosis and treatment of acute and chronic conditions
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
• Perform diagnostic procedures and interpret results
• Order and interpret laboratory tests and imaging studies
• Prescribe medications and manage medication regimens
• Manage patient referrals and coordinate care

Requirements

• Current license to practice as an NP or PA in Georgia
• At least 2 years of relevant clinical experience
• Strong clinical skills and excellent communication abilities
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proficiency in electronic medical records systems

Qualifications

• Masters degree in Nursing or related field for NPs
• Doctorate degree in Physician Assistant Studies
• Passing scores on relevant national certification exams
