Work Schedule

80% FTE, Monday through Friday, 4 days a week from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.

About the role

Join the #1 hospital in Wisconsin! As an Advanced Practice Provider, you'll play an integral role in ambulatory care team by providing high-quality, cost-effective care to patients and their families.

Responsibilities

  • Participate as a care team member in managing a panel of patients in partnership with our primary care physicians.
  • Evaluate and treat acute and chronic health conditions and promote wellness in our outpatient primary care pediatric clinic.
  • Provide counseling and education about common pediatric illnesses and promote wellness with patients and families.

Requirements

  • Minimum – If Nurse Practitioner: Master’s or Doctorate’s degree from accredited Nursing Program
  • If Physician Assistant: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from accredited PA Program
  • Licenses and Certifications: Minimum – State of Wisconsin NP or PA licensure
  • If Nurse Practitioner*: Active RN and APRN certifications and licenses, including prescriptive authority, in state(s) of practice AND Active board certification as a NP in area of clinical practice. These may include the following: Pediatric Primary Care or Family Medicine.
  • If Physician Assistant*: Active PA license, including prescriptive authority, in state(s) of practice AND Active PA board certification
  • All Nurse Practitioner and Physician Assistant applicants must have*: Active DEA license or ability to apply for such license prior to or upon hire. Active license or eligibility to obtain active licensure in state of practice. This may include licensing in Wisconsin and other state(s) of practice.
