Responsibilities
- Evaluation and treatment of patients with chronic pain
- Development of treatment plans including medication management (opioid and non-opioid)
- Ordering appropriate injection therapies
- Scheduling and interpreting imaging studies and labs
- Prescribing conservative therapies such as physical therapy, chiropractic medicine, and pool therapy
- Making appropriate referrals to outside specialties like orthopedics and neurosurgery
Requirements
- Current, unrestricted Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner medical license in Idaho
- Valid controlled substance registration with Idaho Board of Pharmacy and DEA
- A strong medical background and a willingness to support a growing multi-specialty medical group
- Previous advanced practice provider experience in pain management preferred
- Strong clinical assessment and problem-solving skills
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
Qualifications
Must have a current, unrestricted Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner medical license in Idaho.
