Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant OB GYN – Surgical Assist - Per Diem

PeaceHealth St. Joseph Medical Center in Bellingham, WA is seeking a per diem Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant OB GYN – Surgical Assist to provide occasional coverage.

Responsibilities

• Provide occasional coverage for surgical assists in the OB GYN department.
• Work approximately 5 days per month.
• Must be board certified and have experience as a first surgical assist.
• Interest in working in a per diem/as needed capacity.
• Experience with a patient-centered approach to care.
• Knowledge of Epic EMR system.

Requirements

• Board Certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with experience as a first surgical assist.
• Experience working in an OB GYN setting.
• Ability to work in a per diem/as needed capacity.
• Committed to a team-based approach to patient care.

Qualifications

• Current license to practice as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in the state of Washington.
• At least 2 years of experience as a surgical assist in an OB GYN setting.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Pay

Guaranteed hourly rate is based on years of experience: $72.45/hr - $91.77/hr.

Schedule

Days we operate and schedule cases are Monday-Friday. Hours vary between 7:30-5pm, depending on OR cases may run behind.
