Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant in Functional Direct Primary Care

About the role

We are looking for an experienced, board-certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant who is passionate about transforming primary care. Your objective after initial orientation and training will be to work alongside our current Physician Assistant in our new functional primary care facility (lease signed and opening November 2025).

This functional primary care program serves as a sanctuary for those who have recovered from various chronic illnesses as well as for others who, though now healthy, want to stay healthy for years to come. Our functional Direct Primary Care offers them the best of natural and conventional medicine outside the broken insurance and Big Medicine system.

Our long-term goal is to build an institute where we can offer a variety of care levels to meet our patients’ functional health needs.

Qualifications

• Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant License in Tennessee and board certification.
• 5+ years of experience providing primary care, including in-person care.
• 5+ years of clinical practice post-residency (preferred).
• 2+ years of experience practicing functional medicine (preferred, not required).
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Desire to thrive in old-fashioned relational medicine with a high-growth, high-tech, close-knit work environment.
• Preferred but not required IFM/A4M/MAPS/SAFM or comparable certification in functional medicine.
• Passion for your personal health and wellness, and that of others.
