About the role
Our cardiovascular practice is seeking a part-time Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) with experience in cardiology, cardiovascular medicine, or strong primary care to provide high-quality, patient-centered care. The NP/PA will work under the supervision of a board-certified cardiologist and will be responsible for evaluating and managing both cardiac and vein patients.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate and manage cardiac and vein patients
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and clinical evaluations
- Review and interpret diagnostic testing as appropriate
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Monitor patient progress and coordinate ongoing patient care
- Work collaboratively with a board-certified cardiologist
- Educate patients regarding treatment plans, conditions, and preventive care
- Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation
- Provide compassionate, high-quality, patient-centered care
Qualifications
- Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA)
- Cardiology/cardiovascular experience preferred
- Candidates with strong primary care experience will also be considered
- Experience working with cardiac and/or vein patients is highly preferred
- Strong clinical assessment and patient management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals
- Active and unrestricted professional license required
- English proficiency required
Schedule
- Part-Time – 16 hours per week
- Monday and Friday
- 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- In-person position

Experience
- Cardiovascular/Clinical NP experience preferred
- Strong primary care experience will be considered
