We are seeking a licensed Nurse Practitioner (NP) and/or licensed Physician to join our Primary Care team at an outpatient clinic in Cumberland County, Maine.
About the Opportunity
This is a day-shift position with a Monday to Friday schedule, operating from 7:30 AM to 5:00/6:00 PM in an outpatient clinic setting.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive primary care services to adult patients in an outpatient setting
- Manage a daily patient load of approximately 18 to 20 patients
- Conduct routine visits, follow-up care, and ongoing patient assessments
- Collaborate with clinical support staff to ensure efficient patient flow and care coordination
- Document patient encounters and maintain accurate records in the EMR system
Qualifications
- Active NP or physician license and ability to practice in a primary care setting
- Experience providing primary care in an outpatient environment
- Ability to work 2 to 5 shifts per week for an assignment through March 2027
Desired Skills
- Experience using Athena EMR
- Comfort working with 1:1 MA support and RN support
- Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume clinic setting
