Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant - Pulmonology - Joplin, MO

About the role

This opportunity offers shifts Monday through Friday from 8am to 4:30pm. It is a full-time position with no call requirements. The role involves rounding in the hospital with COPD patients and seeing patients in the clinic.

Responsibilities

- Collaborate with Dr. Nida Junaid, MD to improve COPD care. - Round in the hospital with COPD patients. - See COPD patients in the clinic. - Participate in a new program focused on enhancing COPD care.

Requirements

- Must be a Mercy coworker for at least 12 months prior to course start date. - Tuition reimbursement is available for current Mercy RNs or MA's considering an APP role.

Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in a healthcare-related field. - Experience in advanced practice roles. - Strong communication skills. - Knowledge of the Epic EMR system.

- Excellent clinical judgment. - Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively. - Strong interpersonal skills.
