About the role
This position offers a PRN (Per Request) position as a Hospitalist Advanced Practitioner.
Responsibilities
- Provide medical care to patients under the supervision of hospitalists.
- Collaborate with hospitalists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Manage patient care plans and coordinate with other healthcare providers as needed.
- Participate in ongoing professional development activities to maintain and enhance clinical skills.
Requirements
- Acute Care Certification Required.
- Experience in acute care settings preferred.
- Current license to practice advanced practice nursing in Arkansas.
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Nursing or related field.
- Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) certification.
- At least 2 years of relevant clinical experience.
Skills
- Strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in using the Epic Electronic Medical Record (EMR).
