About the role

Mercy Clinic Primary Care at 1001 S. Kirkwood Road is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join their team in a Same-Day Access Provider role.

Responsibilities

• Treat acute and walk-in patients
• Help improve access to care
• Reduce unnecessary emergency department visits and hospital admissions
• Ensure patients receive timely, high-quality treatment close to home

Requirements

• At least one year of previous Advanced Practitioner experience, preferably in Family Medicine or Urgent Care setting

Qualifications

• Certified Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA)
• Previous Primary Care or Urgent Care experience required
• Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills
• Able to manage a high-volume patient flow while maintaining exceptional patient care
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Schedule

• Full-time position - 40hrs/week
• Clinic Hours: Monday-Friday 8am-4:30pm
• Flexible daily start and end times
