About the role

Spectrum Healthcare Resources (SHR) has a wonderful opportunity for Civilian Advanced Practice Clinicians, either Nurse Practitioners or Physicians Assistants, to support Fairchild Air Force Base located in Spokane, WA. In this vital role, you will help ensure that America's sons and daughters who answer the call to serve are medically qualified to defend our nation. By joining our team, you will directly contribute to strengthening the readiness of the U.S. Military and safeguarding the future of our Armed Forces.

Responsibilities

  • Help ensure that America’s sons and daughters who answer the call to serve are medically qualified to defend our nation.
  • Contribute to strengthening the readiness of the U.S. Military and safeguarding the future of our Armed Forces.

Requirements

  • Masters Degree in Nursing
  • Graduate from an academic program that is accredited by a regional or national nursing accrediting agency recognized by the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN) or the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE)
  • Certified in the specialty required by the TO as a Nurse Practitioner by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) or the recognized national nursing certification organization for the specialty area of practice as appropriate.
  • Active DEA
  • Certification in NCCPA

Qualifications

  • Graduate from an ARC-PA certified program and pass the Physician Assistant National Certifying Examination
  • Current, full and active and unrestricted license as a Physician Assistant
  • Active DEA
  • Certification in American Heart Association - BLS

Skills

  • Strong clinical skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
