Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant - Primary Care 365
Virtual Family Medicine Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant opportunity in St. Louis, MO with Mercy Virtual Primary Care 365, a team powered by physicians, advanced practitioners, and support staff focused on quality patient care.
About the role
This is a hybrid position requiring onsite hours at the Mercy Virtual Care Center in Chesterfield, MO, and work from home. A minimum of 90 days in-office is required before starting remote work.
- Conduct video visits for primary care patients with acute complaints
- Assist with after-hours calls for primary care
- Assist with escalations from RNs
- Manage in-basket tasks
Visits are scheduled in 15-minute slots (4 per hour).
Requirements
- Missouri license required to start
- Licenses to treat in Arkansas, Kansas, Illinois, and Oklahoma will also need to be obtained
- One to three years of previous Advanced Practitioner experience in a Primary Care or Urgent setting is strongly preferred
- Treating patients of all ages
- System-wide Epic EMR
Schedule
- Full-time position: 36 hours/week
- 3 - 12-hour shifts per week
- Rotating holidays and weekends
- Night shifts
