About the Role

We are seeking a full-time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our new Austell Pediatrics practice in Austell, Georgia. This position offers an exciting opportunity to help establish and grow a new pediatric practice while providing comprehensive primary care to infants, children, and adolescents.

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive pediatric primary care for newborns, infants, children, and adolescents
  • Perform well-child visits, preventive care, and routine physical examinations
  • Diagnose and manage acute and chronic pediatric conditions
  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests as appropriate
  • Collaborate closely with pediatric physicians and interdisciplinary team members to coordinate high-quality patient care
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in Epic EMR

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program
  • Current Georgia APRN or PA license (or eligibility for Georgia licensure)
  • National certification as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (PNP), or Physician Assistant (PA-C)
  • Current DEA registration (or eligibility)
  • BLS certification
  • Previous pediatric primary care experience preferred
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Commitment to patient-centered, family-focused care
