Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant Neurohospitalist

About the role

The Providence INWA is seeking an excellent Neurohospitalist nurse practitioner or physician assistant in Spokane, Washington. This role is a full-time position with a rotating schedule that can include weekends and may change based on future needs.

Responsibilities

• Care for a broad spectrum of Neurology patients
• Participate in the high performing stroke program
• Enjoy a healthy work/life balance in eastern Washington

Requirements

• At least two years of experience
• Experience in Neurology as a nurse practitioner or physician assistant is strongly preferred

Qualifications

• Full-time position
• 3-day blocks of 12-hours per day (sometimes 4-day blocks, including weekends, weekdays, holidays)
• Inpatient care only, no clinic
• No call or nights

Skills

• Excellent communication skills
• Strong clinical skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Benefits

• Compensation is between $134,988 and $175,853 per year
• May include productivity or quality/service incentives, call pay, extra shift incentives, as applicable to the position
• Providers may have CME benefits available to them
