About the role

We are seeking a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join the M Physician’s Memory Care team in an outpatient role at our St. Louis Park location.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive cognitive assessments, including history-taking, neurological exams, and validated screening tools.
  • Develop and adjust individualized care plans in collaboration with Memory Care neurologists and the treatment team.
  • Provide education and counseling to patients and caregivers on disease progression, treatment options, and community resources.
  • Respond to urgent or emergent neurological issues related to prescribed treatments, such as anti-amyloid therapies, to evaluate and triage next steps.
  • Participate in interdisciplinary case conferences and contribute to quality improvement initiatives in memory care.
  • Collaborate with all members of the care team, patients, and families.

Schedule

  • Full time, 40 hours per week
  • Monday – Friday
  • No current weekend or holiday requirements

Pay

The full-time salary range is $125,759 - $155,660, commensurate with practice experience. The role may also include incentive compensation or additional specialty-specific compensation components.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing and formal Nurse Practitioner training program or graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program.
  • Current MN RN license and approval (or eligibility) by the Minnesota Board of Nursing for prescription writing privileges or current PA license with prescriptive authority through the MN Board of Medical Practice.
  • Certification through ANA/AANC or eligibility for ANA/AANC national exam or certification through the NCCPA and meeting threshold criteria/qualifications for credentialing and privileges.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 3 years of advanced practice provider experience in a neurologic care setting (preferred).
  • New graduates with an interest in neurology are encouraged to apply.
