Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant -Hospitalist-Nights-IU North
Our dynamic Hospitalist group has an opportunity for a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join their team at IU Health North Hospital in Carmel, IN.
About the role
Full-time night shift position working seven consecutive night shifts (6p–6a) followed by 14 consecutive days off. Schedule includes every third weekend, starting Wednesday night. No PTO accrual or CME time off with this schedule structure.
100% inpatient role within a practice of 14 physicians and 7 advanced practice providers (APPs). You will work directly with 1 physician and 2 APPs.
Patient population is mainly suburban Hamilton County residents with varying acuity; includes medical co-management of surgical patients.
Responsibilities
- See admissions from the emergency department
- Handle consults from other services
- Provide cross-cover support on admitted patients
Requirements
- Master’s degree required
- Board certified or eligible (ACNP, AGNP, FNP, or PA certification required)
- Experienced candidates preferred (1–2 years’ experience)
