Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to perform focused, in-person disability assessments for U.S. Veterans as part of the VA's benefits process.

Responsibilities

• Conducting in-person disability assessments and reviewing electronic medical records via a secure web portal.
• Accurately documenting exam findings and completing VA forms.
• Providing medical opinions based on assessment findings.

This role involves in-person evaluations with a caseload of 3-5 Veterans daily, using provided equipment for documentation. No treatment or medication prescribing is involved.

Requirements

• Active, unrestricted NP or PA license.
• Proficiency in electronic documentation and web portals.
• Strong analytical, time management, and compassionate interaction skills.
