Responsibilities

  • Build relationships with patients, store personnel, and the health care community to enhance practice building and continuity of care.

  • Supply high-quality, affordable healthcare in convenient retail settings.
  • Promote health and wellness through diagnosis, treatment, preventative medicine, and patient education.

Qualifications

  • Master of Science in Nursing as a Family Nurse Practitioner or Bachelor's Degree as a Physician Assistant (PAs in OH must have completed 500 hours of post-graduate physician-supervised experience)
  • One year of experience in healthcare
  • Active license, American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) or American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) certification and all necessary state credentials
  • Board certified family nurse practitioner (FNP-C); or physician assistant (PA-C), where eligible

Skills

  • Experience with applicable clinical procedures
  • Experience with electronic health record charting systems
  • Previous experience in retail health, emergency health, critical care
  • Demonstrated leadership, coaching, and influencing skills
  • Experience providing high-quality medical care to patients
  • Experience participating in peer review, quality assurance, and staff meetings
  • Experience managing clinic inventory and ordering supplies
  • Experience performing quality control on instrumentation and CLIA waived testing
  • Experience utilizing company information systems
  • Experience supporting mentor programs
  • Experience controlling costs at clinics to meet profitability goals
  • Experience maintaining a presence in the community through local nursing organization involvement and community outreach
  • Experience traveling to designated clinics within a specified geographic area
