Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant

About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to perform in-person disability assessments for U.S. Veterans as part of the VA's disability benefits process. This role does not involve treatment or prescribing medication.

Responsibilities

• Conducting focused, in-person physical exams for Veterans
• Reviewing and analyzing electronic medical records via a secure web portal
• Accurately documenting exam findings and completing VA forms
• Providing medical opinions based on assessment findings

Qualifications and Skills

• Active, unrestricted NP or PA license
• At least 2,080 supervised hours of practice
• Proficiency in electronic documentation and web-based portals
• Compassionate, professional, and empathetic demeanor with Veterans

Key duties involve completing 3-5 assessments daily in a full-time, in-person setting, with provided equipment and support.
