Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to perform in-person disability assessments for U.S. Veterans as part of the VA's benefits process. This role does not involve treatment or prescribing medication.

Responsibilities

• Conduct physical exams for Veterans
• Review electronic medical records
• Document findings thoroughly
• Provide medical opinions based on assessments
• Use electronic documentation and secure web portals for all work

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted NP or PA license
• Proficient in technology
• Capable of compassionate interaction with Veterans

Schedule

Part-time role with a structured schedule, conducting in-person assessments of 3-5 Veterans daily. No on-call duties.
