Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to perform in-person disability assessments for U.S. Veterans as part of the VA's benefits process. This role does not involve treatment or prescribing medication.

Responsibilities

• Conducting focused physical exams and reviewing electronic medical records via a secure web portal.
• Accurately documenting exam findings and completing VA forms.
• Providing medical opinions based on assessment findings.

Requirements

• Active, unrestricted NP or PA license.
• Proficiency in electronic documentation and web-based portals.
• Strong analytical and time management skills.
• Professional demeanor and compassionate approach to interacting with Veterans.

Schedule

Full-time, in-person role with a structured schedule and no on-call responsibilities. Caseload of 3-5 Veterans daily.
