Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant

About the role

We are seeking experienced Physician Assistants or Nurse Practitioners with urgent care or emergency room experience to join our team at Memorial Hermann - GoHealth Urgent Care. You will work in our South Region Centers providing a wide range of clinical services including treatment of acute episodic conditions and minor procedures.

Responsibilities

• Treat both adult and pediatric patients
• Recognize and manage more serious conditions requiring referral to the emergency room
• Deliver an unparalleled patient experience
• Perform minor procedures such as sutures, casts, and splints
• Read EKGs and X-rays

Requirements

• 2-5 years of post-residency experience required for PAs
• 1 or more years of full-time experience in an Urgent Care or Emergency Medicine setting required for NPs
• Experience treating both pediatric and adult patient populations
• Comfortable with minor procedures and reading EKGs and X-rays

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required for Physician Assistants
• Master’s Degree required for Nurse Practitioners
• National Certifications
• Active state medical licensure
