Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to perform in-person disability assessments for U.S. Veterans as part of the VA's benefits process. This role does not involve treatment or prescribing medication.

Responsibilities

• Conducting focused physical exams for Veterans
• Reviewing electronic medical records via a secure web portal
• Accurately documenting exam findings and completing VA forms
• Providing medical opinions based on assessment findings

Requirements

• Active, unrestricted NP or PA license
• Proficiency with electronic documentation and web portals
• Strong analytical, time management, and communication skills
• Compassionate and professional demeanor when interacting with Veterans

Additional Details

• Full-time, in-person position with a caseload of 3-5 Veterans daily
• Equipment provided for documentation
• Predictable schedule with no on-call duties
