About the role
We are seeking a dedicated Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to perform in-person disability assessments for U.S. Veterans as part of the VA's benefits process. This role does not involve treatment or prescribing medication.
Responsibilities
- Conducting physical exams for Veterans
- Reviewing electronic medical records
- Accurately documenting findings to complete VA forms
Requirements
- Active, unrestricted NP or PA license
- Proficiency with electronic documentation and web portals
- Strong analytical skills
- Excellent time management
- Compassionate, professional demeanor
Schedule
Full-time, in-person position with a caseload of 3-5 Veterans daily and a predictable schedule with no on-call duties.
