Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to perform in-person disability assessments for U.S. Veterans as part of the VA's disability benefits process. This role does not involve treatment or prescribing medication.

Responsibilities

• Conducting focused physical exams and reviewing electronic medical records
• Accurately documenting exam findings and completing VA forms
• Providing medical opinions based on assessment findings
• In-person assessments, record review, documentation, and assessment reporting

Requirements

• Active, unrestricted NP or PA license
• Proficiency in electronic documentation and web-based portals
• Strong analytical, time management, and empathetic communication skills

Schedule

Full-time, in-person role with a caseload of 3-5 Veterans daily.
