About the role
We are seeking a dedicated Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to perform medical assessments for U.S. Veterans as part of the VA's disability benefits process. This role does not involve treatment or prescribing medication.
Position is part-time, in-person, with a caseload of 3-5 Veterans daily. Necessary equipment for documentation is provided.
Responsibilities
- Conduct in-person physical exams
- Review electronic medical records
- Accurately document findings
- Provide medical opinions based on assessments
Requirements
- Active, unrestricted NP or PA license
- Proficiency in electronic documentation
