Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant

About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to conduct in-person disability assessments for U.S. Veterans as part of the VA's benefits process. This role does not involve treatment or prescribing medication.

Responsibilities

• Perform focused physical exams and review electronic medical records via a secure web portal.
• Accurately document exam findings and complete VA forms.
• Provide medical opinions based on assessment findings.

Position Details

• Part-time schedule, three days per week.
• In-person assessments with a caseload of 3-5 Veterans daily.
• Equipment provided for documentation.

Requirements

• Active, unrestricted NP or PA license.
• Proficiency in electronic documentation and web portals.
