Nurse Practitioner or PA-C (4437) URGENT CARE BRANNON CROSSING

About the role

Lexington Clinic is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or PA-C to join the urgent care team at Brannon Crossing. In this role, you will work under the supervision and guidance of a physician to deliver primary medical care in a fast-paced urgent care setting.

Responsibilities

• Obtain and document patient historical and physical data
• Interpret and integrate clinical findings to determine appropriate diagnostic and therapeutic procedures
• Assist in the management of treatment plans
• Provide technical assistance and ensure quality patient care
• Maintain positive relationships with patients, family members, visitors, and fellow employees

Required Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant program or graduate nursing school
• Current Kentucky board licensure (PA or RN)
• Physician Assistant certification or Advanced Practitioner RN registration
• Exam eligible or nationally certified as a Nurse Practitioner

Physical Requirements

• Ability to move, traverse, position self, and remain in a stationary position for up to eight hours per day
• Ability to lift, move, and transport patients, equipment, and supplies
• Motor coordination and manual dexterity
• Ability to communicate effectively
• Ability to read and understand medical orders
• Adequate visual acuity
