About the role
The role involves managing a team of researchers and overseeing projects related to advanced data analytics and machine learning applications in healthcare.
Responsibilities
- Oversee a team of data scientists and analysts in developing predictive models and algorithms for healthcare improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate data-driven insights into clinical workflows and patient care.
- Develop and maintain robust data pipelines and ensure data quality and security standards are met.
- Present findings and recommendations to senior leadership and stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in data science, machine learning, or related fields.
- Proven track record of successful project management and leadership.
- Experience with Python, R, and SQL.
- Strong understanding of statistical analysis and machine learning techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Advanced degree in a relevant field preferred.
- Experience with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, and NoSQL databases.
- Knowledge of healthcare regulations and compliance requirements.
- Data analysis and interpretation.
- Machine learning model development and deployment.
- Project management and team leadership.
