- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and physical examinations
- Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with supervising oncologist
- Monitor patients receiving chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and supportive treatments
- Order, interpret, and review diagnostic tests and laboratory results
- Educate patients and families regarding diagnosis, treatment options, and symptom management
- Document patient encounters accurately in the electronic medical record
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and continuing education
- Minimum Qualifications: Master’s degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner Program
- Current New York State Nurse Practitioner license
- Current DEA registration (or eligibility to obtain)
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience as a Nurse Practitioner
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required, ACLS preferred
- Ability to stand, walk, and move freely throughout the workday
- Manual dexterity and visual acuity for performing physical examinations and procedures
- Ability to lift and carry medical equipment and supplies as needed
