Nurse Practitioner - Obstetrics and Gynecology

About the role

The role is for a Nurse Practitioner specializing in OB/GYN inpatient care, working nights and weekends in a high-acuity, hospital-based setting.

Responsibilities

• Managing labor and delivery patients
• Performing obstetric triage assessments
• Assisting with cesarean sections
• Providing inpatient gynecology consultations
• Conducting postpartum and gynecology rounds
• Managing communications for antepartum, postpartum, and gynecology patients
• Collaborating with OB/GYN physicians, maternal fetal medicine specialists, residents, and nursing staff
• Delivering evidence-based obstetric care aligned with industry standards

Qualifications

The ideal candidate has a strong background in hospital obstetrics and surgeries, with excellent collaboration and clinical skills, and thrives in a team-based, high-pressure environment.

Schedule

• 0.8 FTE (32 hours/week)
• Night shifts: Monday to Friday, 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM
• Minimum of one weekend per month
• No call or outpatient responsibilities
• Shift-based work with some scheduling flexibility; high-volume cases backed by OB/GYN physicians
