Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, treat, and educate patients across all life spans and families in a thriving primary care setting.
• Collaborate closely with a team of dedicated professionals to ensure comprehensive care and best outcomes.
• Develop and implement comprehensive outcomes-based patient treatment plans.
• Counsel patients concerning medical and psychological/psychiatric conditions, treatment plans, and behavior modification.
• Interpret and evaluate laboratory and other diagnostic tests.

Requirements

• Current license to practice as a Nurse Practitioner in the state of Texas.
• Texas RN licensure or RN licensure with compact privilege from a state that is party to the Nurse Licensure Compact for RNs and LVNs.
• National Nurse Practitioner certification in area of specialty.
• Basic Life Support within 30 days of hire or transfer.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
• 4 years experience as a primary care Nurse Practitioner.
• Certified primary care Nurse Practitioner or Family Nurse Practitioner.
