Responsibilities
- Conduct pre-anesthesia evaluations for surgical patients
- Collaborate with anesthesia providers and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care
- Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient needs
- Provide direct patient care, including monitoring vital signs, administering medications, and performing procedures
- Document patient care activities accurately and timely
- Participate in interdisciplinary rounds and meetings to discuss patient progress and plan care
- Stay updated on the latest perioperative nursing practices and research
Requirements
- Experience in Perioperative Services
- Master’s Degree in specialty of practice
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree
- Current New York State License as Nurse Practitioner in area of practice
- Current New York State Registered Nurse license
- Board Certification in area of specialty
- Current Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) through the American Heart Association (AHA)
Preferred Criteria
- Experience in perioperative services preferred

Pay
$169,694-$187,854/Annual
Schedule
This is a full-time position working 4 days/week 7:30am-6:00pm at NewYork-Presbyterian/David H. Koch Center. There are no weekends, holidays, or call shifts required.
