Nurse Practitioner (NP) / Physician Assistant (PA)

About the role

Serves as the primary care provider to long and short-term residents in a facility in Red Bank, NJ.

• Assess patient health through visits, physical examinations, and medical history reviews.
• Collaborate with medical attending/physician and nursing home staff to deliver high-standard, team-based care.
• Build relationships with residents and families, educating and formulating evidence-based care plans aligned with patient needs and desires.
• Comply with federal, state, and local legal and professional requirements, including anticipating future legislation.
• Maintain professional knowledge through educational workshops, publications, and professional networks.
• Ensure a safe, clean working environment that aligns with organizational core values: respect, professionalism, and cultural awareness.
• Review and ensure timely, accurate charting, documentation, and administration of care.

Requirements

• Board Certified as a Nurse Practitioner.
• Experience in health promotion, clinical skills, infection control, medication administration, pain management, and self-development.
• Strong abilities in thoroughness, informing others, medical teamwork, and bedside manner.
• Hospital setting experience is preferred but not required.

Extensive training will be offered.
