Nurse Practitioner, NP - Osteoporosis, Outpatient

About the role

We're hiring an Osteoporosis Nurse Practitioner in Concordville to support and advance women's health across our community. As a Nurse Practitioner you will perform acts of medical diagnosis or prescription of medical therapeutic or corrective measures in collaboration with attending physicians and residents. You will make an impact in leading quality and evidence-based care initiatives that will result in achieving optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Enhance quality patient care and amplify communication between the physician, family members, and the health care team
• Perform medical diagnosis and prescribe medical therapeutic or corrective measures in collaboration with attending physicians and residents
• Lead quality and evidence-based care initiatives to achieve optimal patient outcomes

Requirements

• Completion of a Nurse Practitioner program required
• MSN required
• Licensed by the Pennsylvania State Board of Nursing Examiners as a Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner
• Provider BLS (American Heart Assoc/American Red Cross) required
• ACLS certification required
• PALS (pediatric advanced life support) may be required
• Successful completion of the MLH credentialing process through the Medical Staff office, with temporary or permanent privileges approved

Qualifications

• 2 years Nurse Practitioner outpatient experience preferred in osteoporosis, endocrinology, or women's health
• Minimum of 2 years Nursing experience in endocrinology or osteoporosis preferred
