Responsibilities

• Provide services across the continuum of care—including independent living, assisted living, and skilled nursing.
• Build and manage an outpatient Primary Care Practice on campus.
• Deliver care for assisted‑living and skilled‑nursing residents.
• Plan and direct all functions of the resident‑care clinical area, including management of team members and day‑to‑day operations.
• Manage resident healthcare needs in compliance with federal and state regulations.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of the long‑term care industry and geriatrics through continuing education.
• Serve as clinical preceptor for Nurse Practitioner students.
• Develop and implement preventative and well‑being services, providing proactive care to help residents thrive and age in place.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Advanced Nursing, preferably with a focus on geriatrics.
• Licensed Nurse Practitioner with prescriptive authority in the work state (Florida).
• Florida Autonomous Practice certification for Nurse Practitioners (or obtain within the first year of employment).
• Minimum of five years’ experience as a Nurse Practitioner in primary care, urgent care, or a medical office setting, especially in geriatrics.
• Experience in continuing care, skilled nursing care, long‑term care, and/or an assisted‑living environment.
